RecruitHQ360 ("we," "us," or "our") operates recruithq360.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our sports recruiting intelligence platform.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Name, email address, role (athlete, coach, admin)
• Profile information: Athletic stats, school information, recruiting preferences
• Social media connections: If you connect X or Instagram, we store your username, display name, and access tokens (encrypted)
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, login times
• Payment information: Processed securely through Stripe — we never store card numbers

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve our recruiting intelligence platform
• To connect athletes with college coaches
• To send service-related communications
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To post content to connected social media accounts on your behalf (only when you explicitly request it)
• To analyze platform usage and improve features

3. Social Media Integrations

If you connect your X (Twitter) or Instagram account to RecruitHQ360:

• We store your social media username, display name, and encrypted access tokens
• We only post content when you explicitly authorize each post
• You can disconnect your social accounts at any time from your dashboard
• We do not sell your social media data to third parties
• Instagram connections require a Business or Creator account per Meta's policies

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Database and authentication services
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Resend: Transactional and notification email delivery
• Vercel: Application hosting
• Anthropic: AI-powered features
• Law enforcement when required by law

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time. Upon deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption, encrypted storage of access tokens, and secure authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Minors & Children's Privacy

RecruitHQ360 is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 — if you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Many of our athletes are minors aged 13–17. When a minor builds a profile, we collect a parent or guardian's name and email and ask for parental consent. A parent or guardian may review their child's information, or request correction or deletion of it, at any time by emailing privacy@recruithq360.com.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — for authentication and session management. Our analytics (Plausible) are privacy-friendly and cookieless: they set no cookies, do not track you across other sites, and do not collect personal data. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on our platform.
